Koločep is a place where everybody knows each other. Not surprising at all, considering the fact that the island’s present population is approximately one hundred, whereas the future offers the same picture typical of Croatian islands — slowly dying away. The Koločep school is attended by only five pupils.

As a result of the implementation of the project The Isle of Knowledge the number of youngest residents of Koločep will also increase. Current and future pupils will be educated on the island using state-of-the-art technology, in the company of the best students and professors.
